Research Experience and Accomplishments
Mainly focused on synthesis and applications of nanomaterials, particularly silicon nanowires, including vortex assisted synthesis of nano-array, solvothermal preparation of various nanomaterials, surface-enhanced Raman scattering based on nanomaterial substrates, chemical sensors and biosensors, etc. Over 90 publications in chemistry and materials journals, including two hot articles and two covers. Ongoing research supports include: one National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) general grant, one NSFC major grant, and co-investigator in a 973 program (the National Basic Research Program).
